Given the limited time available and the need to respect the guests’ experience, we implemented a strategy to capture a wide array of scenes without being intrusive. We conducted two distinct shoots: one focused on the culinary offerings and restaurant settings, while the other captured the lifestyle aspects of the cruise experience.

Our approach involved creating a comprehensive shot list to ensure we covered essential elements, yet we remained open to spontaneous opportunities that arose during the shoots. This balance of planning and flexibility enabled us to document not just the visual appeal of the food and ambiance, but also the genuine moments that define the guest experience.

Additionally, our collaboration with the cruise director and other vital staff members was crucial throughout the process. Given the unpredictable nature of working on a luxury cruise, we faced challenges such as sudden weather changes or the unavailability of planned shooting locations. By maintaining open lines of communication and fostering strong partnerships with the team on board, we were able to quickly adapt our plans while staying aligned with Regent’s vision and goals.
